Skip all the stress of planning your perfect, romantic, Valentine’s Day and sign up for one of the events that central Arizona offers. Whether you’re going solo this year or with your lover there’s plenty of things to check out.

All Stars Valentine’s Day Event

When: 7 p.m. Feb. 12 - 2 a.m. Feb. 13

Get all dolled up for this Hollywood Red Carpet Style event. There will be food, drinks, music, dancing, and models. Whether you’re single or not, if you’re looking to party check out this event! They’re coming to Phoenix to ‘shut down the city,’ so be ready!

Baking Class for Kids - Valentine’s Day Truffles

When: 3 - 4 p.m., Feb. 13
Where: JL Patisserie, Scottsdale
Cost: $55

For ages 10 and up this class gives kids the perfect, unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. No prior baking experience is needed, this class is for kids of all experience levels. Students will learn about basic culinary skills and recipes while being hands-on as they craft their own truffles. And don’t forget about the best part, indulging in those delicious truffles when the class ends. Tickets are sold out this year, so if you’re interested keep an eye out for next year’s tickets!

Chaos Comedy Valentine’s Day Improv Show

When: 7 - 8:15 p.m., Feb. 12
Where: Dearing Acting Studio, Phoenix
Cost: $15

Gather up your family for this Valentine’s Day Improv Show. With all games themed around the holiday, this family friendly improv troupe is offering 50% off your next improv show if you wear red in support of Valentine’s Day! The opening act is Improv Games – Chaos Comedy Game Troupe and the closing act is The Improv Play – Joey Sweeny and Brian Sweeny. The show will also be streamed live on Youtube if you’re looking for a night in.

Couples’ Paint Night - AZ Starry Heart

When: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Feb. 12
Where: Craft Nights, Phoenix
Cost: $90 per couple

Feeling crafty? Follow along with the instructor and create your own side by side panel painting with your partner. With your ticket fee you’ll get two 16”x20” canvases, instruction and design, paint, brushes, and a masterpiece to display in your home forever. If you don’t consider yourself artsy, that’s okay because you’ll be receiving step by step instructions the whole time. Also, all events after 4 p.m. are BYOB (beer and wine) so take your seat, pop your bottle, and get to painting!

Set Your V-Day on Fire

When: Feb. 11 - 14
Where: Candle Chemistry, Scottsdale
Cost: $60

For $60 you and your partner each get to create an 8oz pour-your-own soy candle. You’ll get a box of four chocolates, a red rose, and a Polaroid picture to take home with you to remember the night. The event is BYOB, so check out their website to see what you’re able to bring and keep in mind they have disposable drinkware for you to use.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day all weekend with Hotel Valley Ho!

From 5:30 – 10 p.m. Friday through Monday they’ll be having a special three-course Valentine’s Day menu at Zuzu. Created by Executive Chef Russell LaCasce, it’ll be $79 per person. Some featured menu items include Hiramasa Crudo with yuzu pearls, 12 oz., Dry Aged Ribeye with lobster shepherd’s pie, and Passion Fruit Posset with coconut curd. If you want to enjoy your romantic dinner with some live music, J Forte will be playing Friday and Saturday from 7 – 10 p.m.

During the weekend of Feb. 10-13, and 17-20 there will be specials at the VH Spa. You’ll get to enjoy a glass of bubbly in celebration of this special day when you book a couples massage. For a 60-minute massage it’ll be $170 per person, and for a 90-minute massage it’ll be $230 per person.

Valentine’s Day at Mountain Shadows

When: 5 - 9 p.m., Feb. 14
Where: Hearth ‘61, Mountain Shadows, Paradise Valley

This Valentine’s Day Hearth ‘61 will be featuring a special menu only available on Valentine’s Day. Chef de Cuisine Alfred Muro brings you this curated menu. Your dinner will consist of a Petit Lobster Salad with golden pepper confit, Warm Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tart, Hawaiian Snapper en Papillote, and White Chocolate Crème Brûlée with red velvet crumble and chocolate tuile. They’ll also be featuring a Rum d’Amour cocktail that you can purchase to try with your dinner. When making your reservations be sure to choose if you’d like just the dinner, or the dinner with wine pairings.

Valentine’s Day Selfie Photo Shoot

When: 11 a.m., Feb. 13
Where: 9020 North 103rd Avenue, Sun City
Cost: $25 (early bird tickets) $35 (general admission)

Exotic Taste Epic Events brings you this Valentine’s Selfie Photo Shoot! The $25 – $35 ticket covers both you and your partner and gives you an hour to explore all the different areas in the studio to snap all the pictures you want. The event will feature unique Valentine’s Day scenes with a 360° Photo Booth and enhanced lighting. Come in anytime from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., grab your welcome drink and get ready to pose for the camera. You can purchase your photo prints for an additional fee.

Windgate Ranch Valentine’s Day Dinner and Mixer

When: 6 - 9 p.m., Feb. 11
Where: 10095 E Windgate Ranch Rd, Scottsdale
Cost: $20

At the Outdoor Living Room your ticket will get you beer, wine, and a catered meal from Sophia’s Kitchen. For entertainment, Pete Pancrazi, a jazz guitarist, vocalist, and educator will be performing. Downbeat Magazine has recently named him as being “one to watch,” so buy your ticket for an exciting night filled with delicious food and great entertainment.

Wonderland Valentine Festival

When: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Feb. 12
Where: Singh Meadows, Tempe

If you’re a fan of Alice in Wonderland, this event is for you! Put on by Enchanted Dream Parties, tickets are free for adults and kids under 12 months. In joining in on this event, you’ll be jumping down the rabbit hole into Alice’s world. Snag one of their picnic spots and enjoy your lunch from the cafe while also partaking in face painting, balloons, hair do’s, pony rides, boutique shopping, and a farmers market. All guests are welcome to come dressed up!
