Family Easter Celebration in Chandler

Whether you follow the same family traditions every year or are looking forward to an annual, local event, there’s plenty for you to do on/leading up to Easter. Maybe you’re looking for something new to do this Easter, or are new to the area and don’t know where to go. If that’s the case, I’ve compiled a list of some events coming in the area that are worth checking out!

When: 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. April 9
Where: Rocket SPACE, Gilbert
Cost: $20 (adults free with child)

Easter time means it’s time for the annual Easter Bunny Party in Space brought to you by Rocket SPACE. Enjoy a morning filled with Easter crafts and snacks. And, don’t forget to stop by and take a photo with the Easter Bunny to bring home as a keepsake of your party in space. It’s the perfect event for your whole family with endless activities, and music. Your kids admission ticket gets you a professional photo with the Easter Bunny, digital photos emailed after the event, an egg hunt, an Easter-themed arts and crafts project, Easter Bunny snacks, and more!

When: 6 p.m. - 12 a.m. April 16
Where: Let it Roll Bowl and Entertainment, Phoenix
Cost: Prices vary, pay by the hour

Let it Roll Bowl and Entertainment in Phoenix is throwing you this Easter Cosmic Bowling Bash. DJ Tlast will be performing all night! Come out and challenge your friends to see who the ultimate bowler is while enjoying all your favorite music, games, food, and prizes.

When: 7:30 a.m., April 16
Where: Prospector Park, Apache Junction
Cost: Free

Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department are bringing back their annual Easter Egg Hunt! Open to all ages, the egg hunt is broken up into separate age groups to make it fair for everyone. There’s a group for 2 and under, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 9&10, 11 – 15, and for ages 16 and over. Search for the token during your egg hunt to win a special prize. In addition to the free egg hunt, there will be different activities and games (possibly for a small fee), sponsored by local non-profits. Don’t forget to bring a basket to fill with your findings, and stop by to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

When: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., April 16
Where: Hunkapi Farms, Scottsdale

Bring your own basket and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. There will be an egg hunt for all kids nine and under, and an egg toss tournament. Adults get in free with your kid’s ticket (but you can prepay for an entree from the local food truck Wok This Way). Make sure to dress festively because there will be plenty of photo opportunities. 

When: 9 a.m. April 17
Where: Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Scottsdale
Cost: Brunch - $145 for adults, $68 for kids (under 5 are free), $40 for photos with the Easter Bunny

The Princess is throwing an Easter brunch in the Palomino Ballroom. With your brunch fee you’ll get to choose from different selections curated at their four signature restaurants; Bourbon Steak, La Hacienda, Toro Latin Restaurant and Rum Bar, and Ironwood American Kitchen. After brunch you’ll get to indulge in some sweet desserts from their pastry team and gain free entry to their resort’s Alice in Wonderland Easter egg hunt adventure in the Ballroom. 

Get a photo with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., April 9 – 10, and 16 – 17 at the Princess Pool Overlook.

Open to kids aged nine and younger is the Chandler Family Easter Celebration. Make your way along the 24 Karrot Trail to find eggs and goodies. The event will be full of crafts, amusements, and live performances. While out on the egg hunt, keep your eye out for the “Golden Karrot,” to win a special prize.

When: 6:30 p.m., April 8
Where: Craft Nights, Phoenix
Cost: $29.50 a person

Paint an Easter Bunny to get in the Easter spirit. Your ticket includes an 11”x14” canvas, paint and brushes, instruction and design. No prior experience is needed because you will be getting step-by-step instructions the whole time you’re creating your masterpiece! Any event after 4 p.m. thrown at Craft Nights is B.Y.O.B (beer and wine only). If you’re coming with three or more people there are some discounts, so be sure to check their website before purchasing individual tickets. Join in and paint yourself a little bunny to display in your home this Easter!

Register online to take part in this free Easter event for you and your pup! Pre-registration is required! This year will mark the first of this new annual fundraiser/event that’ll support Puppy Luv Animal Rescue. While at the event you and your dog will get to hunt for 1,500 plastic Easter eggs that are filled with doggy treats. There will be 200 tennis balls scattered around the park grass, special prize drawings, a photo op with the Easter Bunny, and even adoptable dogs from Puppy Luv Animal Rescue. You can always go on a walk around the park too!
