Looking for something new to do this Thanksgiving? Well, you’re in luck because there’s so many different events to look into all throughout the Southwest. If you’re from the area or looking to take a little trip for the holidays, check these out.

When: 10 a.m. Nov. 12
Where: Santa Fe Railyard Water Tower, Santa Fe, NM
Cost: Free (bring $15- $20 for food)

Get ready for the 14th annual “madcap scavenger hunt on a bicycle!” Essentially this is a food drive on two wheels. Back in 1999 New York hosted the first ever Cranksgiving, and since then over 112 cities in the US, Canada, and UK, have begun hosting their very own.

All you’ll need is your bike, some cash, a bag, and a lock. After meeting at the Railyard Water Tower the race will begin as you scavenge the city to collect your list of ingredients for this year’s holiday meal. It’s a race to the finish with prizes going out to the fastest man, women, small team, large team, best dressed, and team with the most food collected. Gather up all your ingredients in record time to help benefit the Food Depot of Northern New Mexico.

When: 7 - 9 p.m. Nov. 23
Where: The Dynasty Typewriter, Los Angeles, CA
Cost: $15 Livestream, $20 Advanced, $25 Day of Show

Join Jon Gabrus, Mano Agapion, Nicole Byer, Mike Mitchell, Betsy Sodaro, and Nick Wiger at Dynasty Typewriter, one of LA’s premier entertainment destinations. From comedy, to music, live podcasts, screenings, and immersive experiences, it’s attained the title of “LA’s comedy clubhouse,” by The NY Times, and “LA’s best alt-comedy venue,” by LA Weekly.

If you can’t physically make it to the event, you can still join in on the fun by purchasing your livestream ticket. Wondering what to expect? Pure chaos with six friends, 60 minutes, and 60 shots of beer. Join in on the craziness, or sit back and watch as it unfolds around you.

When: Nov. 24
Where: Hotel Del Coronado, Coronado, CA
Cost: $100 - $225

Kick back and relax while you celebrate Thanksgiving in elegance. Leave all the hard work of preparation and cooking to the professionals while you take in the beautiful surrounding views and lavish feast. The dinner gives guests the opportunity to see the hotel’s brand new and largest event venue, the Southpointe Ballroom.

Your meal will be accompanied by live music, and guests will also get a chance to enjoy the beloved Skating by the Sea as it returns for the holiday season. Twinkling lights, decor, a 22-foot ocean-themed tree, and delicious food; what could be better?

When: 6:30 - 10 a.m. Nov. 24
Where: 219 E Rose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA
Cost: N/A
